July 6, 2017-- The Dutch CDC  ('RIVM') has announced after a year-long study that risks of GMO mosquitoes on Saba are negligible.  The study considered potential effects on both humans and the ecosystem.  This paves the way for possible use on the small Dutch Island, where total eradication of Aedes species is theoretically possible.
